KABUL: The High Commission for Addressing Refugee Issues has announced that it distributed 2 billion Afghanis to returning Afghans within the past month.
The commission’s spokesperson, Ahmadullah Wasiq, stated on his X that each member of a returning family receives 2,000 Afghanis per day, totaling up to 30 million Afghanis allocated daily for their support.
He also mentioned that all services for migrants, such as food distribution, healthcare, and registration, are provided free of charge and will continue.
Ahmadullah Wasiq added that the Islamic Emirate directly distributes assistance to them but has also requested support from charitable organizations, traders, and philanthropists.
