KABUL: A 25-year-old Afghan woman, along with her three young children, has been murdered in Tehran, the Hengaw Human Rights Organization has reported on Saturday night.
The young woman was stabbed to death, and her three children, aged between two and five years, were suffocated in her house in the Murtaza Gerd area of the capital Tehran.
The woman’s body was discovered on Friday, ten days after the incident, following a call from local residents to the police.
It has been reported that this woman was the second wife of an Afghan man who recently returned to Afghanistan, and she was living in a rented house with her children.
Iranian police have stated that investigations are ongoing to identify the perpetrators of this “horrific crime.”
