KABUL: The Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement today that 18 individuals have been arrested by police over various crimes in six provinces of the country.
According to the statement, the individuals were detained for various crimes including, theft, murder, smuggling, and illegal hunting of birds, in Nimroz, Herat, Balkh, Baghlan, Khost, and Laghman provinces.
The cases of the arrested individuals will be forwarded to judicial authorities after necessary investigations.
This comes as efforts continue to enforce the law and prevent crime in society.
