KABUL: In a recent incident, Israeli soldiers directly fired upon hungry Palestinian citizens waiting in line for food in two locations in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of at least 39 individuals.
According to Associated Press, on Saturday, the Palestinians were targeted at food distribution centers supported by Israeli forces, including near the “Zikim” crossing, where 10 Palestinians were martyred at one center and 19 at another.
The attacks took place one day after a senior U.S. delegation, including the special envoy for Middle Eastern affairs and the U.S. ambassador to Israel, visited food distribution centers in Gaza.
Health officials have reported that Israeli soldiers have intentionally targeted hundreds of individuals during food distribution in recent months.
This situation occurs amidst widespread famine and hunger, which, alongside ongoing conflict, threatens the lives of Gaza residents.
