Netanyahu decides to fully occupy Gaza Strip

KABUL: Israeli media reports that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to fully occupy the Gaza Strip.

An Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported on Monday night that the Israeli Prime Minister stated that a military operation to occupy the entire Gaza Strip will commence, which will also include areas where Israeli captives are held by Hamas.

Citing senior Israeli sources, the report mentioned that Netanyahu has indicated that if the Chief of Staff disagrees with this decision, he may resign.

Additionally, the Israeli media has claimed that the U.S. has given a green light to Netanyahu’s decision.

This comes at a time when most countries around the world are calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
