KABUL: Scholars and traders of 12 countries in a meeting with Nooruddin Azizi, the Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, assessed the current situation in Afghanistan under the leadership of the Islamic Emirate (IEA) as stable.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce said in a statement on Tuesday night, that the participants included scholars and traders from Turkey, Qatar, Bahrain, Palestine, Yemen, Oman, Jordan, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Somalia, Malaysia, and India.
According to the statement, the participants expressed their views, describing Afghanistan’s current situation as safe and stable.
Azizi noted that the current state of the country is the result of “vital decisions” made by the leadership of the IEA. He highlighted the promotion of the Afghan currency nationwide, efforts to prevent the smuggling of dollars and goods, and the regulation of currency exchange activities as vital decisions.
He also provided comprehensive information about investment opportunities in various sectors and emphasized the importance of comprehensive cooperation with investors.
It is worth mentioning that several scholars and traders from the twelve countries have traveled to Afghanistan.
