KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump has announced the nomination of Tammy Bruce, the spokesperson for the State Department, as the Deputy Representative of the United States to the United Nations.
Trump stated on his social media that Bruce has performed excellently in her role and is well-suited for this new position.
Before assuming new role, Tammy Bruce will need to pass a confirmation vote from the U.S. Senate.
