KABUL: Nooruddin Azizi, the acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, during his visit to Kyrgyzstan, met with a number of Afghan traders residing in that country.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce said in a statement today that the meeting aimed to listen to the problems, requests, and messages of Afghan traders.
According to the statement, Minister Azizi told the Afghan traders that Afghanistan is now one of the stable countries in the region and assured them that they could safely return to their homeland.
He added that conditions have been created for transferring their investments back to Afghanistan and encouraged them to take advantage of the existing facilities for investment in various sectors.
Earlier, Minister Azizi signed two important trade agreements with Kyrgyzstan during his visit.
