KABUL: The Central Commission for Security Clearance and Purification held a special session in Kabul to mark the 24th of Asad, presided over by Mullah Rahmatullah Najib, Deputy Head of the Commission and Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs, the commission said in a statement today.
The participants described the day as the result of the nation’s sacrifices, divine favor, and unwavering dedication, according to the statement.
They emphasized that independence and freedom are among the highest values, granted by Allah Almighty to the Afghan nation.
Officials urged security forces to exercise restraint and avoid any actions that might cause inconvenience to the public during the celebrations.
They also stressed the importance of commemorating the day as one of gratitude and national pride, in line with Islamic values.
