KABUL: Scottish leader John Swinney has urged UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer to stop selling weapons to Israel and to take action to prevent the killing of Palestinians.
In a post on his X account, he stated that Netanyahu’s actions signify the destruction of the Palestinian people, as he expands ground operations in Gaza.
Swinney emphasized that the world must not remain silent about the ongoing atrocities in Gaza and should assist in putting an end to this genocide.
It is noteworthy that, in addition to Scotland, many European countries have reduced their cooperation with Israel, leading to increased political isolation for the country.
