Joint Emirati delegation leaves for Tatarstan, Russia

KABUL: A joint Emirati delegation, led by Mawlavi Ahmadjan Bilal, head of Emirati Companies, has left for Tatarstan, Russia for an official visit.

The General Directorate of Emirati Companies said in a statement today that the delegation, which includes Mullah Hidayatullah Badri, acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, is traveling to Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, to participate in a two-day oil and gas industry conference.

In addition to attending the conference, the delegation is also expected to visit the “Oil, Gas, and Chemistry” exhibition.

The statement noted that the delegation is anticipated to discuss industrial cooperation with Tatarstan officials and visit developmental projects.

Tatarstan is one of the republics of the Russian Federation that maintains extensive political, economic, and trade relations with Afghanistan.
