KABUL: Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, stated that the sacrifices of the martyrs of Dasht-e-Leili in Jawzjan province are unforgettable.
In a statement released today, the Deputy Prime Minister’s office reported that Baradar made the remarks during his visit to Dasht-e-Leili, where he offered prayers for the souls of the martyrs.
He emphasized that the sacrifices of the Dasht-e-Leili martyrs have been unparalleled in establishing the Islamic system in the country.
Baradar reiterated that the Taliban administration will make every effort to realize the aspirations of these martyrs.
It is noteworthy that since the Islamic Emirate’s return to power, efforts have begun to construct a memorial for the martyrs of Dasht-e-Leili in the area.
