Traffic accident leaves six dead and one injured in Ghazni

GHAZNI: Local officials in Ghazni province have confirmed that a traffic accident resulted in at least six fatalities and one injury.
Izatullah Saeedi, the spokesperson for the Ghazni governor, told Radio Omid that the incident occurred today, when a 580-type passenger vehicle collided with a speeding car in an area known as Kotal Roza, which is part of Ghazni province and resulted in the death of six people including one woman, one man, and four children and injuries of one another.
Additionally, in two separate traffic incidents on the Kabul-Kandahar highway within Ghazni province, one person has died and four others have been injured.
The Ghazni police headquarters issued a statement indicating that these two accidents occurred last night in the districts of Waghaz and Ab Band.
Traffic accidents have periodically claimed the lives of citizens in the country.
Recently, preventive measures to reduce the number of such incidents have been implemented by the Ministry of Interior.
