KABUL: Mawlavi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the Minister of National Defense, stated that the Islamic Emirate is committed to establishing a strong, professional, and Islamic national army.
He made the remarks in a recent interview with Al Jazeera, emphasizing that efforts to develop this strong army are ongoing, with hundreds of personnel graduating from training programs each month within the ministry’s divisions.
He also noted that in the past four years, the Islamic Emirate has transformed the collapse of the system in Afghanistan into a functioning order.
Mawlavi Mohammad Yahqoob Mujahid highlighted that the Ministry of National Defense, which was once in disarray, is now organized and strengthened.
He further mentioned that the Ministry of National Defense has achieved significant advancements in national security.
It is noteworthy that the Minister of Defense traveled to Qatar earlier this week, and this interview likely took place during that visit.
