NDMA praises 17 national traders for providing aid to earthquake victims in Kunar

KABUL: The president of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, during a ceremony, praised seventeen national traders for their efforts and assistance to the earthquake victims in Kunar province, (NDMA) said in a statement today.

The authority highlighted the timely and responsible contributions of these national traders during the crisis as a symbol of national solidarity and responsibility toward the people.

According to the statement, Mullah Turabi, said that the National Disaster Management Authority aims to strengthen and institutionalize the culture of selflessness, benevolence, and support for victims across the country.

The recognized traders expressed their commitment to providing aid and standing by those in need during disasters.

Sayed Ahmad Silab, one of the national traders, described assisting disaster victims as a moral and spiritual responsibility.

The aid provided by the national traders to the earthquake victims in Kunar was distributed in coordination with the National Disaster Management Authority.

Reports indicate that during the relief efforts for earthquake victims in the eastern provinces of the country, both domestic and foreign aid have been pouring in from east to west and from south to north.
