KABUL: Spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior Affairs Mufti Abdul Mateen Qani said that the Logar security forces have detained a nine-member group of professional thieves.
The group was detained in the Mohammad Agha district of Logar province, said Qani adding that the members of this group had repeatedly engaged in thefts across various areas of Logar.
He noted that the thieves were caught by police while attempting to break into a house in the Dehano area of Mohammad Agha district.
Along with the group, police also seized a vehicle, a motorcycle, three firearms, and a quantity of military equipment.
This comes as police efforts continue to ensure security and prevent criminal activities throughout the country.
