Heavy rains result in 4 deaths and 28 injuries in Punjab

KABUL: Heavy rainfall has led to the deaths of four people, including two children, and injured 28 others, in Pakistan’s Punjab province.

Reports indicate that this loss of life and injuries resulted from the collapse of residential buildings.

Rescue teams have successfully evacuated 1,122 individuals from dangerous areas.

According to the Punjab Disaster Management Authority, rainfall in Multan city reached 113 millimeters, which is considered a significant level.

Officials have warned of the possibility of further rainfall in the province, prompting the declaration of a state of emergency in Multan.
