KABUL: The participant countries of the seventh session of the “Moscow Format” have announced their support for Afghanistan as an independent and peaceful nation.
In their final statement released on Tuesday, they emphasized that any military presence in Afghanistan and its surrounding countries undermines regional security and stability.
It also stressed the importance of delivering humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan, stating that such assistance should remain free of political motives.
Participants expressed their support for Afghanistan as an independent, united, and peace-seeking country and urged nations to expand their cooperation with Afghanistan at both bilateral and multilateral levels.
Notably, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, participated officially in the seventh consultative meeting of the “Moscow Format” and discussed the achievements of the Afghan government over the past four years in various sectors.
