KABUL: Following rising criticism over nearly 50 violations of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli occupying regime, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, special representative and advisor to Donald Trump, have embarked on a trip to Tel Aviv.
The Times of Israel reports that these two American officials are expected to arrive in Tel Aviv today.
According to the media outlet, the purpose of their visit is to promote the ceasefire in Gaza and discuss the frameworks proposed by Washington for this agreement.
Steve Witkoff, the U.S. special representative for Middle East affairs, and Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and advisor, are recognized as architects of the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli occupying regime.
Upon their arrival in Tel Aviv, they are set to meet and discuss matters with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
At the same time, the reputable Israeli media report that U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance is also scheduled to visit Tel Aviv tomorrow (Tuesday).
Additionally, Netanyahu’s court hearings, set for Monday and Tuesday regarding his criminal cases, have been postponed due to the visit of these three American officials.
Recently, the Gaza media office reported that the Israeli occupying regime violated the ceasefire 47 times within nine days, resulting in the martyrdom of over 20 Palestinians, 143 injured, and several others detained.
