KABUL: In a meeting attended by Sheik Shir Ahmad Haqqani, the Minister of Information and Culture, experts in political affairs and media were commended for their activities, particularly regarding recent developments in the country, the ministry stated in a statement today.
In the meeting, the Minister stated that the Afghan people have shown unity and solidarity in supporting the system during recent changes, proving to the world that they will not allow anyone to invade their country.
Minister Haqani expressed gratitude to all media and political experts for their efforts, emphasizing that the nation has defended its land against any form of occupation in complete unity.
He also noted that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as an independent and free system, has defended the rights of Afghans in dialogues with major world powers, highlighting the exchange of prisoners with the American side as a notable example.
Meanwhile, Muhajer Farahi, the Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs of the ministry, stated that the ministry supports political and media experts.
Farahi mentioned that media outlets adhering to Islamic and Afghan values operate with full freedom, and the Ministry of Information and Culture provides support in all areas.
It is noteworthy that during the recent military conflicts between Afghanistan and Pakistan, media outlets fully adhered to the strategy and policies adopted by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
