KABUL: Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, has met with Shaher Al-Taqi, the CEO of Delta International from Saudi Arabia.
According to a statement from his office, former U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad was also present at the meeting.
The two parties discussed in detail topics related to the exploration and extraction of gas, as well as the expansion of pipeline networks.
The CEO of Delta International committed to investing in Afghanistan’s oil and gas sector and expressed his intention to share experiences with Afghan engineers.
