KABUL: Reliable sources have informed Radio Omid that the Afghan negotiating team submitted their finalized draft to the Pakistani side last night in Turkey.
According to the source, the draft emphasizes that Pakistan must refrain from violating Afghanistan’s land and airspace and must not allow any group or opposition to be used against Afghanistan.
Additionally, the Afghan side expressed readiness to establish a quadrilateral mechanism for monitoring the ceasefire agreement, which would be responsible for assessing violations and exchanging information.
Mediators submitted this draft to the Pakistani side, and early this morning, a second draft was also presented by them.
It is expected that both sides will meet again today at noon in the presence of mediators to reach an outcome of the negotiations.
