KABUL: The Ministry of Industry and Commerce, said in a statement on Tuesday that during the Afghan-Kazakh Trade Forum, agreements valued at over $360 million were signed between companies from the two countries.
According to the statement, the agreements were made in sectors including oil and gas, flour, wheat, food, transportation, soap, pasta, joint investment, and other areas.
During the meetings, Nooruddin Azizi, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, emphasized that Afghanistan, with its current stability, has created opportunities for investors and is ready for extensive cooperation with the private sectors of regional countries.
The mentioned agreements were signed between Afghan and Kazakh traders on the first day of the Afghan-Kazakh Economic Forum, which is being held for three days in the city of Shymkent, Kazakhstan.
