KABUL: The Ministry of Public Health has announced that India has donated over 16 tons of medicines and diagnostic kits for vector-borne diseases to Afghanistan as part of ongoing humanitarian assistance.
According to the ministry, this support aims to strengthen Afghanistan’s malaria and related disease prevention programs, enhancing the capacity to combat diseases such as malaria, dengue, and leishmaniasis.
The ministry added that this assistance from India will play a crucial role in advancing public health institutions and controlling infectious diseases.
