KABUL: Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, has responded to recent remarks made by Pakistan’s Defense Minister, stating that Khawaja Asif’s authority is limited to a tweet (posting on X).
In an interview with a local media, he said that Asif’s recent statements do not represent the position of all people in Pakistan, as it is well known that the citizens of that country do not desire war.
Mujahid reiterated that Afghanistan, like the people of Pakistan, does not seek conflict, indicating that there is no need to comment on Asif’s statements.
He added that both the people and political parties of Pakistan are also against war, asserting that there is no need to focus excessively on an unwanted issue.
