Kushner travels to Israel for talks with Netanyahu

KABUL: Jared Kushner, son-in-law of Donald Trump, has made a secret visit to Israel, Reuters citing some sources reported on Sunday night.
The purpose of Kushner’s visit to Tel Aviv is to discuss Trump’s peace plan aimed at ending the conflict in the Gaza Strip with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Kushner, who is also a senior advisor to Trump, is scheduled to meet with Netanyahu today (Monday) to discuss and negotiate the aforementioned plan.
Due to the confidential nature of this trip, both the White House and Netanyahu’s office have refrained from commenting.
This marks Kushner’s second visit to Israel in the past month regarding Trump’s plan to end the Gaza conflict.
He previously met with Netanyahu alongside Steve Witkoff, the U.S. special representative for the Middle East.
It remains to be seen what the outcomes of this visit will be for the war-torn Gaza Strip affected by Israeli attacks.
