Three contracts signed with companies and hospital in Saudi Arabia to enhance services for Afghan pilgrims

KABUL: The Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs, has announced the signing of three contracts, including agreements with two companies and one hospital in Saudi Arabia.

In a statement issued on Wednesday evening, the ministry stated that the contracts, signed with “Duyof Al-Bayt” and “Rawaf Mina” companies and the “Mecca Medical Center,” to provide organized, quality, and standard services for Afghan pilgrims in Mecca, Medina, and the holy sites (Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat).

The contracts were signed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on the sidelines of the International Conference and Exhibition for Hajj and Umrah Services.

The agreements were signed between Mawlavi Abdul Baqi Sajad, the Afghan Hajj Consul in Mecca, and the executive heads of the mentioned companies.

According to the statement, the companies are obligated to provide transportation, accommodation, and catering services for Afghan pilgrims during the Hajj season, as well as other necessary facilities.

Additionally, the “Mecca Medical Center” is responsible for ongoing oversight of the healthcare service teams and will coordinate with the health teams from the Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs.

It is noteworthy that, following preventive measures, Hajj ceremonies have been conducted successfully in recent years.
