Putin and Netanyahu discussed Gaza Strip, Iran’s nuclear program, and situation in Syria via phone
KABUL: Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke by phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the digital media outlet Middle East Eye, reported on Saturday night.
The primary issues of discussion included the situation in the Gaza Strip, Iran’s nuclear program, and the current conditions in Syria.
The Kremlin did not provide further details regarding the dialogue between Putin and Netanyahu.
This conversation occurs amidst a fragile ceasefire that has been in place for nearly 50 days between Hamas and the Israeli regime.
Additionally, concerns in Iran regarding the possibility of renewed attacks by the Israeli regime persist.
This comes at a time when Syrian authorities are attempting to avoid military confrontations with elements supported by Tel Aviv, including the Druze in the country.
