MEHTERLAM: At least six people were martyred and three others were wounded in a traffic accident in the country’s eastern province of Laghman, the province police command said in a statement today.
The deadly incident happened in Meya Khan Kaj area of the Qarghiawi district, Laghman province, this morning, where a vehicle skidded off the road and turtled, said the statement, adding that the injured were transferred to the hospital.
A woman and a child are among the martyrs said the police adding that the victims were burned in the fire.
Police called reckless driving behavior the main reason behind the accident.
