KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump pointing to the recent attack in Chicago, has said that crime and unrest continue in the city.
In a post on his social media platform Truth Social this morning, Trump commented on the violence that has plagued the area.
Just last night (Friday evening, U.S. time), at least six police officers were shot while responding to a shooting incident in the “Loop” area of Chicago, Illinois, that resulted in one death and five injuries, with one of the wounded in critical condition.
Trump criticized the governor and mayor of Chicago, labeling them “dim-witted,” and condemned their rejection of federal assistance to improve the city’s situation.
