KABUL: As a result of a shooting by an armed man in Arizona at least one person died and three others were injured, including a woman and two children.
Fox News reported that the incident occurred after noon on Saturday local time, in a vehicle parking area at a shopping center south of Phoenix, the capital of Arizona.
Brian Bower, a spokesperson for the Phoenix police, stated that the incident followed a confrontation between occupants of two vehicles. After arriving at the parking lot, one party involved in the dispute opened fire.
Fox News did not provide information regarding whether the shooter had been apprehended.
Earlier, in a separate shooting incident in Chicago, Illinois, at least one police officer was killed, and five others were injured.
