KABUL: Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, has strongly condemned the recent airstrikes by Pakistan on Afghanistan’s Khost, Paktika, and Kunar provinces, threatening that a necessary response would be given to Pakistan at an appropriate time.
He stated that last night’s attacks constitute a violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty and a clear violation of accepted international norms by the Pakistani authorities.
In a post on X, he wrote: “The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan strongly condemns this violation and act of aggression, and stresses that defending its airspace, territory, and citizens is its legitimate right. A necessary response will be taken at the proper time.”
It is noteworthy that Pakistan’s military regime recently violated Afghanistan’s airspace again, conducting bombings on civilian homes in three provinces of the country.
