KABUL: Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi has departed for Turkey to participate in the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) ministerial meeting.
The ministry stated that this visit is being conducted at the official invitation of Turkey, and Minister Azizi is expected to explain Afghanistan’s stance and economic opportunities during the ECO ministerial meeting.
Sources indicate that Mr. Azizi will also attend the opening ceremonies of the “Halal 2025” exhibition.
Additionally, he is scheduled to hold discussions with representatives from the Turkish private sector regarding attracting investments to Afghanistan and expanding economic cooperation.
