KABUL: Ali Larijani, the Secretary of the National Security Council of Iran, has begun a two-day visit to Pakistan, Mahr News Agency reported today.
The purpose of Larijani’s visit is to discuss and consult with Pakistani officials regarding bilateral relations between Tehran and Islamabad, follow up on joint agreements, and address regional and international developments, including other significant global issues.
Upon arriving at Nur Khan Military Airport in Rawalpindi, he was welcomed by the Deputy Secretary of Pakistan’s National Security Council.
Details of Larijani’s agenda in Islamabad have not been disclosed.
Before his trip, he noted Pakistan’s stance during Iran’s 12-day conflict with the Israeli occupying regime, emphasizing that Iranians will not forget this support.
