HERAT: The provincial officials of Herat have confirmed that the export of gas tankers from this province to Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan has commenced.
These tankers are produced by a private company in Herat, with an initial shipment of 14 large tankers sent to Russia and Uzbekistan, according to a statement from the Herat governor’s press office.
Local authorities in Herat stated that the export process for these tankers will continue to the mentioned countries.
The statement noted that the local government of Herat is a primary supporter of industrialists and is implementing various programs to strengthen production industries in the province, aiming to create further growth opportunities for factories.
Herat is considered one of the industrial provinces in western Afghanistan.
