KABUL: Afghanistan’s U-17 national football team achieved its first victory in the AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers by defeating Myanmar.
The match took place on Friday evening in Myanmar, where the Afghan U-17 team secured a 2-0 win against their opponents. Heading into halftime, the score was 1-0, and in the second half, they scored to make it 2-0.
Previously, the Afghan U-17 team had been defeated by the Myanmar and Syria teams.
Afghanistan’s final match in the group stage of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers is scheduled for this coming Tuesday against Oman.
