KABUL: The Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced that it has signed a formal agreement with the Uzbekistan Cricket Federation to enhance technical cooperation and promote the development of the sport.
In a statement, the cricket board noted that this agreement was made in Tashkent between representatives of both countries.
Under this agreement, Afghanistan will share training programs in technical areas with the Uzbekistan Cricket Federation to expedite the growth of cricket in Uzbekistan.
Additionally, Afghan Under-19 teams and leading domestic cricket teams will participate in bilateral matches with Uzbek teams.
According to the cricket board, this initiative is not only significant for strengthening regional cooperation in cricket but will also open new avenues for young Afghan players to exchange international experiences.
