Iran’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture: Tehran’s approach to cooperation with Afghanistan is long-term and sustainable

KABUL: Ms. Jalili Moghadam, the Deputy Minister of Agricultural Jihad in Iran, stated that her country’s perspective on cooperation with Afghanistan is “long-term and sustainable.”
The Iranian embassy in Kabul reported on Sunday night, that the Deputy Minister emphasized that her ministry supports easy trade with traders, farmers, livestock breeders, and fish farmers from both countries.
During a meeting at the Agriculture Chamber of Afghanistan, she expressed these views while leading a delegation of Iranian traders visiting Afghanistan.
Ms. Jalili Moghadam also serves as the head of the Plant Protection Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to reports, a delegation of 60 Iranian traders arrived in Herat province in western Afghanistan the previous day.
