Over 1,000 Afghan families returned home in one day

KABUL: The Office of the High Commission for Addressing Refugees Issues has released its daily report for Sunday, indicating that 1,053 Afghan refugee families and 4,834 individuals have been forcibly returned to the country, with necessary services provided to them.
According to the report, the returning families have entered through various routes, including Islam Qala in Herat, Spin Boldak in Kandahar, Torkham in Nangarhar, and Bahramcha in Helmand.
The report states that out of these, 1,160 families, comprising 6,566 individuals, have been organized for relocation to their respective areas, 785 families have received assistance, and 872 SIM cards have been distributed.
Additionally, in the central part of Kabul, 603 families have been relocated to their provinces, and they have received 2.3 million Afghanis in rental assistance.
