KABUL: Mahdi Pir Salehi, the Deputy Minister of Health of Iran, leading a delegation has arrived in Afghanistan.
The Iranian Embassy in Kabul said in a statement today that the purpose of the Deputy Minister’s trip is to discuss health and pharmaceutical cooperation between Tehran and Kabul with Afghan officials.
Upon arrival in Kabul, he had already met with officials from the Ministry of Public Health.
The Iranian Embassy stated that Mahdi Pir Salehi is also scheduled to visit the three-day “Salamat” health exhibition in Kabul.
His visit aims to support the participating Iranian companies at the exhibition.
The Ministry of Public Health noted that the “Afghan Health” exhibition is being held for three days in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Wahaj Company, and the Iranian Embassy in Kabul.
