GARDIZ: The police personnel of Paktia have arrested two residents of the province on charges of wildlife hunting.
The press office of the Paktia Police Command said in a statement that the two individuals were apprehended in the Zazai Aryub district for hunting a mountain goat.
The police stated that the arrested individuals illegally hunted the goat using a firearm.
Currently, the police have referred the case of the arrested individuals to the relevant authorities for legal proceedings.
No further details have been provided regarding the identities of the arrested individuals or the status of the hunted animal.
