UN Security Council to hold special meeting on Afghanistan situation

KABUL: The United Nations has announced that the Security Council will hold a special meeting concerning the situation in Afghanistan.

UNAMA News posted on its X page that the session will take place on Wednesday, December 10, at 10:00 AM New York time and 7:30 PM Kabul time.

The meeting will reflect discussions by the Security Council on Afghanistan’s current situation, upcoming diplomatic processes, and international assessments.

According to the statement, the session will be broadcast live via the UN’s “Web TV.”
