KABUL: The deputy spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, in an audio message asserts today that the government is committed and serious about eradicating administrative corruption, embezzlement, and land grabbing in the country.
According to him, significant and decisive steps have been taken over the past four years to combat administrative corruption and land grabbing, particularly within government agencies, resulting in a substantial reduction in these issues.
He emphasized that fighting administrative corruption is a serious goal for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
Fitrat noted that the arrests of individuals involved in corruption cases demonstrate the government’s seriousness in taking decisive action against this problem.
He also identified the simplification of administrative processes as a key measure that has been effective in the fight against corruption, indicating that serious work is ongoing in this area.
These statements come at a time when, over the past four years, hundreds of thousands of acres of seized land have been returned, and individuals involved in corruption cases have been brought to justice and imprisoned.
