KABUL: The Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas has urged the international community to intensify pressure on Israel to halt its attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip and to open humanitarian aid corridors.
Hamas leaders emphasized that Israel must end its ongoing assaults and allow increased humanitarian aid to flow into Gaza.
This request comes as discussions are ongoing regarding a second phase of the ceasefire.
On the other hand, the Israeli side has reported that a 20-point ceasefire proposal suggested by U.S. President Donald Trump is advancing towards a new and “even more complex” phase.
The Israeli government has also requested that Hamas hand over the remains of the latest hostage in accordance with the agreement.
