KABUL: Mohammad Suhail Shaheen, the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in Qatar, met with Richard Lindsay, the UK’s special representative for Afghanistan.
According to a statement from the IEA Embassy in Qatar on Wednesday, during the meeting, both sides addressed the provision of consular services for Afghan citizens residing in the UK, the current political situation, humanitarian aid, education, and other topics.
According to the statement, the bilateral relations between Kabul and London were also a focus of the talks.
The meeting comes as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working to expand consular services for Afghan citizens living in Western and European countries.
