KABUL: At least two individuals have been martyred and two others have been injured in a traffic accident on the Kabul-Kandahar highway, on the outskirts of Maidan Wardak province, the province’s police command said in a statement today.
According to the statement, the accident occurred when a vehicle crashed into a truck in the Badam area of Nerkh district of the Maidan Wardak province.
Police said that the driver of the vehicle and a woman have been martyred and two others including a woman have been injured.
The cause of the traffic accident has been attributed to the driver’s negligence.
