U.S. judiciary opposes Trump’s order; National Guard Forces returning from Los Angeles

KABUL: A federal judge in the United States has stopped Donald Trump’s order for the deployment of National Guard forces in Los Angeles, California.
Reuters reported on Wednesday, on the opposition from Charles Breyer, a federal judge in San Francisco, regarding Trump’s directive.
Judge Breyer issued a ruling placing the National Guard under the command of the Democratic governor of California, stating that Trump has exceeded his authority.
The federal judge remarked that there is no evidence that the immigration-related protests in Los Angeles, for which Trump sent the National Guard, were riots.
He stated, “The founders designed our system of government based on checks and balances. However, it seems that the defendants only seek unchecked oversight,” seemingly referring to the Trump administration.
In June of this year, following widespread protests in Los Angeles, Trump ordered the deployment of 4,000 National Guard troops to the city, a directive that met with opposition from the state government, which is controlled by Democrats.
