KABUL: Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, head of the press and public relations department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has said Radio Omid Radio while the Afghan government was invited to a meeting in Tehran involving special envoys from certain regional countries, the Islamic Emirate will not participate in this gathering.
According to him, the reason for the Islamic Emirate’s decision not to attend is that Afghanistan currently maintains active relationships with regional countries through existing regional organizations and cooperation formats, having made significant progress in this area.
He added that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs supports the strengthening of existing regional positions to promote regional understanding, build trust, and enhance cooperation.
