KABUL: Following the announcement by Russia and Iran regarding the implementation of railway projects in Afghanistan, the Islamic Emirate has expressed its support and welcomed these decisions.
Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, Deputy Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, in an interview with Omid Radio, said today that the conditions for regional connectivity and project implementation through Afghanistan are currently more favorable than ever.
He emphasized that the Afghan government is fully committed to supporting all projects that contribute to regional welfare and prosperity.
Fitrat stated, ”Afghanistan is fully prepared for regional connectivity and can effectively leverage the security and stability achieved in the country to enhance these efforts.”
Notably, a recent statement from the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia indicated that Moscow is ready to implement railway projects in Afghanistan to facilitate regional connectivity.
