KABUL: Kazakhstan’s ambassador, Gaziz Akbasov, during a meeting with Balkh Governor Mohammad Yusuf Wafa, stated that his country is ready to build a standard 200-bed hospital in Afghanistan to enhance healthcare services.
The Balkh governor’s press office in a statement told Omid Radio that Kazakhstan will also construct several standard schools.
The projects aim to address the healthcare and educational challenges faced by Afghans while opening a new chapter in humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
Sources noted that the Balkh governor welcomed the investment and humanitarian cooperation from Kazakhstan, considering it significant for building trust between the two nations.
It’s important to mention that the purpose of this visit is to strengthen commercial ties between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan, take practical steps towards commercial circulation, and assess the existing opportunities for investment in Afghanistan.
